Happy September!
Ugh! A world without Dolly! It was a busy and emotional month, with the loss of our Dolly, she’s always been such an inspiration to me. I remember listening to her records and having her poster on my wall as a kid. Me and Jim honored her by playing all Dolly before and between our sets for our last few shows, and it was nice to see everyone, even the little ones, singing along to her songs.

Started out on Cape Cod for Alan Arena’s Hugs for Lizbeth Fundraiser, and then headed to the other side of the state to play a show with the band at Theodore’s in Springfield. It was a great night with so many friends, family, fans from way back, and new friends, like Vermont harp player Spencer Jarrett, whose photos captured the night perfectly. Fun times with the band in Londonderry, Vermont…
Earlier this month, we met this cool harp player (and photographer), Spencer Jarrett, in Vermont. He plays a mean acoustic blues harp, and we really enjoyed having him sit in with us this month (and he & his wife took some really killer photos & videos, too)!
