POSTCARD FROM SPAIN…
Hola mis amigos!
Happy (middle of) May! Jim and I are still getting acclimated to being back in the US, while jumping right back to doing shows around New England, but we did have the chance to see the movie Sinners the other night, which I highly recommend – it’s a vampire movie with substance, style, and great music! Fun story… I guess I was a bit out of the loop being on tour, so the way I found out about the movie was when a 9 year old video of mine recently started getting lots of new weird comments like “you shouldn’t let them in!” Well, come to find out the movie has a trio of vampires (a girl and two guys, just like my video) that play the song “Pick Poor Robin Clean”. Check out the hilarious comments here! So glad this movie has people searching for this old song I learned from my dad as a kid, by the great female country blues duo Geechie Wiley and LV Thomas!
Spanish Tour Video – Andalusia!
We had a great time touring around Spain for the month of April with our friends, Sara Gee & Ramblin’ Matt! I put together a cool tour video that takes you behind the scenes with us in this beautiful region of Spain: Granada, Ùbeda, & La Herradura. I really had fun putting this together, and (although it’s 6 whole minutes long) I promise it’s worth the watch! The soundtrack music is also live – an audio clip from our big finalé with Sara & Matt: Memphis Minnie’s “What’s The Matter With The Mill”. (The answer? It done broke down!) Watch to the end for clips of Freight Train, Candyman and You Are My Sunshine!!

- We’ve got a busy summer coming up – check out our upcoming schedule below, including duo shows from Vermont to Virginia, and some great New England shows with the Delta Swingers, as well as Lovewhip!
- The new recording is coming along – we are just about done mixing! Next, I’ll start designing the cover and lots of other fun things – I plan to share a lot more about this project soon!!
- 2025 UK tour! We are just finishing putting together the final details for our this year’s UK & Isle of Man tour, which is happening in Oct./Nov., and will be announced soon!
