Happy July!
I hope everyone is staying cool! This month is coming in hot, thank goodness we had a chance to install the air conditioners in our 3rd floor apartment yesterday. We’re just back from being away dealing with some family stuff, keeping our fingers crossed that all stays well, while we get ready for an exciting month of shows in and around New England. We’ve been doing so many duo shows and tours lately, this month I’m excited I get to dust off my electric guitars and play with the band! The fun starts Friday with a 4th of July CBD show in New Bedford; followed by some great Lovewhip parties, including at the legendary Midway Cafe; then I’m delighted to be opening for the great Shemekia Copeland at the Prescott Park Arts Festival; the Delta Swingers come to Catamount; and we finish off the month with a Country Blues Duo mini-tour – NY, CT, and MA, including Boston! I’m happy to report my online guitar workshop went well last weekend (even though I ended up setting up remotely from my father in law's house in Utica NY). I want to send out a big thanks to everyone who attended! It was lots of fun, and really great seeing everybody. I look forward to doing another one soon, stay tuned…
