Happy New Year!
Happy 2025! We’re feeling so much gratitude to you – our fans, friends and family, venues and our team – without you all we wouldn’t be able to keep this going. 2024 was very busy for us, and this year is off to a running start as well. We did over 120 shows, and still managed to finish tracking our new album, in between 3 international tours (UK & Spain x2, and a short jaunt to Jamaica last February). I recently did a really interesting interview with Mainwood Guitars in the Netherlands, check it out below to see hear about my vintage guitars, and to see some cool old photos! Some nice reviews came in from our Spain and UK tours, along with a few pics from the year, scroll down to see…
We have lots of exciting things in store this year, beginning with our Florida tour, which starts this Friday in Vero Beach! From there, we’ll be working our way down the coast with shows in the east, and Gulf Coast. Full schedule below!Â
We’re also working on mixing our new album – a tribute to Mississippi John Hurt – we’ll be sharing more about it soon, including pre-sale, release date, and previews! We’re also working on booking now for 2025, and we’ll be announcing some exciting tours (Spain, UK) and US show announcements coming up as well.
I look forward to sharing lots more fun stuff with you this year. Keep up with our tour on Facebook and Instagram! And as always, I’d love to hear from you, or see you at a show!
xo,
Erin

LIVE SHOW REVIEWS!

“I can feel my face getting that content grin it has when I’m in my happy place, live music at its best. When I mention Blues music to some people, they think it’s all sadness and doom songs, but sometimes that couldn’t be further from the truth, because as I look around the venue all I can see is smiles and the audience singing along.
Two superb sets have my feet tapping, my heart racing and my face hurting from smiling so much, I hope they come to the UK again sometime soon.”
–Blues Matters Magazine (Review of Erin Harpe Country Blues Duo, Friday Nov. 1, 2024 at the sold out! Green Note. Written by Blues Barn Barry.)Â

“Erin Harpe and Jim Countryman gave a large and lucky audience a night we will remember for a long time. Hypnotic singer extraordinaire and master of the Piedmont blues, playing with the strings while subtly executing her fingerpicking, Erin offered an irresistible overview of traditional American music of the early decades of the twentieth century. She presented her own tracks, as well as references to Memphis Minnie, Luke Jordan, Blind Boy Fuller, Mississippi John Hurt, Lonnie Johnson, Slim Harpo and Muddy Waters…
Embellishing her music with the kazoo on some tracks, Erin Harpe shares a deep connection with Jim Countryman, a perfect rhythm machine that brings bass and vocals. Erin & Jim convey distinction, elegance, good humor and an uncommon talent, and it was a real privilege to be able to enjoy their concert last night. I hope it can be repeated soon.”
–Griffin Jazz (Review of Erin Harpe Country Blues Duo at Lemon Rock in Granada, Spain, Friday Oct. 25, 2024.)
A FEW HIGHLIGHTS…
We saw some absolutely beautiful parts of the world, here are just a few…

La Herradura, Spain.

Brixham, UK.

The Isle of Man.

Stonehenge!
Hung out with friends…

Had some great shows…

And even tried the local cuisine…

And it was great to meet so many longtime fans in person for the first time in England, Wales, and Spain (several of whom drove multiple hours to see us, and already had all our albums!). Love you all, and wishing you the best in the New Year!
