Happy Fall!

Wow, it's been a super busy summer, and year – and it's not over yet!!

This month, I get to spend some much needed time at home, working on acoustic guitar-centric stuff!

First, I'm getting ready to teach a workshop through Acoustic Guitar Magazine next Wednesday, September 18th – Intro to Country Blues – and you can sign up (for as little as $1) here!

For the rest of the month, I'll be recording for my new album, and gearing up for a trip down to Maryland and Virginia to see my family, and hopefully some of you! Jim and I are bringing our Country Blues Duo for a couple of very cool shows. Friday, Sept. 27th catch us at the famed “Barbershop” (aka the Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation) in Hyattsville MD.

Saturday, Sept. 28th is the John Jackson Piedmont Blues Festival in Woodville VA, where, besides playing a set and getting to hang out with some of my favorite musicians, I'll be the Mistress of Ceremonies! It's gonna be a fun day, come if you can! It's not that far from DC…
