Hi Blues Fans!
Summer finally arrived here in New England on August 1st and I have been touring all around New England and enjoying seeing everyone at my solo shows and at the shows with my dance band Lovewhip. I had a great time at the Provincetown Rocks music festival last weekend. Check out my slideshow below of some cool pics of me playing inside the venerable fishermans bar the Old Colony, and outside behind the OC on the beach.There was a fun blog crew there from Playground Boston.com. I have two upcoming gigs where I play the whole night. Up first is this Friday, August 7, at the Tiki Hideaway in the Howard Johnson's behind Fenway Park. This show is FREE and is 18+. I play two sets starting at 9:30pm. The address is 1271 Boylston St, Boston, MA, 02215, right behind Fenway Park. The Sox are out of town so there will be plenty of parking.
My next local Boston gig is Sunday August 16th at the awesome cajun/dixie mishmash Highland Kitchen. Mark the chef/owner used to be the head chef at the Green St. Grill back in the infamous days of Central Square in Cambridge. He makes out of this world food, lots of fresh seafood with a cajun twist. Vice Versatile from the comedy/musical performance troupe Varietae is a cocktail server there in his free time when he isn't on the planet HIHOWOYA. This show will be FREE! and I play two sets starting at 10pm. The Highland Kitchen is located at 150 Highland Ave, Somerville, MA. Come early for dinner and stay late for some acoustic delta blues!
There are some very inexpensive summer specials happening at my Blues Store. Both Blues Roots and Delta Blues Duets plus a T-shirt for only $22. Both Cd's for only $15. One T-shirt and one cd for $15. Check it out!
